Ok, so for anyone who wondered about why they want us to drink this sour stuff, I did some research online and found this website: http://health.learninginfo.org/health-benefits-lemons.htm
Basically it says that when mixed with warm water it is effective in curing digestive problems. It says that it "acts as a tonic to the liver and stimulates it to produce bile making it ready to digest the day's food."
Kinda makes you wanna drink this stuff every day right? I admit its hard to drink it... I tend to add a little more than a 'cup' of water to cut back on the sour flavor. Also I time myself to see how fast I can drink it. It distracts me from the taste and yes, Im competitive even with myself.
Anyone have any other suggestions on how to get past this lovely morning beverage?
