Hello! I am starting the SQ cleanse tomorrow and am having troubles because I don't like/ don't have time for a lot of the foods on their cleanse meal plan. I made myself a new plan using their suggested food servings per meal with all healthy foods, but am wondering whether there is something special about the foods in their plan? I have lots of experience with diets and have a good idea of what is healthy and what is not. I am within my calories and am eating from all food groups. Any tips or suggestions for the program that might be useful?

Im also wondering the samething... Im starting my cleanse next week when it comes in the mail :) I am planning on following the weight watchers plan of counting points i go to meetings every sunday. I guess i just wanted something to help jump start the weight loss and help control my appetite.

The SQ Cleanse diet plan is a recommendation. Showing you what you should be eating in terms of protein and grains and the amount of calories to be consumed everyday. Make sure that your protein is from a lean source and that you eat whole grains and fruits and vegetables. You have the right idea with staying within a certain amount of calories daily and eating from all food groups to get all your nutrients.

On the meal plan, along the left side, there is a serving total per meal. eg: Lunch is 3 veggie plus one protein. As long as you stick to the proper serving sizes and only the ones given for that meal or snack, then you should be good to go! :) Good luck, I started mine today!

So I started the Cleanse today...The warm water and lemon juice does not taste good...For breakfast I did not have what they said too only because I did not have the stuff so i stuck with the 1 grain, 1 protein, 1 fruit.. and it came out to be 2 calories less then the smoothie all together but when i put it in here it seems as if the carbs are way to high compaired to the protein and the other thing on the pie chart...So is it good that my calories are about the same or is it bad that the carbs overtook the breakfast?

I'm starting my cleanse tomorrow and I need some substitution ideas. I'm very lactose intolerant and can't use things like cottage cheese and yogurt. The stores in my area don't offer a lot of alternatives, any ideas?
