I am A mom of a beautiful 2 year old. I gained a decent amount of weight a few years ago due to a car accident and i couldn't walk, then I got pregnant and well you know the story. I have tried going to the gym and weigh watchers and nothing has helped. i could use to lose 60-80 pounds. I am only 27 and want to have a great life with my daughter. I am still undecided with this product can anyone give me any advice? Should you do the cleanse or does it matter? Does it interfere with birth control?

    It has been said on here that if you do take birth control pills that they can be affected by the SQ pills, some say to take your birth control before bedtime to get it's best affectiveness and doesn't interfere with the SQ pills. Read around here, that question has been asked many times with good responses. SQ does work great and does what it says it will do as long as you do your 50% with diet and exercises plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week. Proper eating healthy habits and no junk foods or processed or fried foods, little to no red meats, to fatty. Many did the cleanse before starting the pills as it cleans your body out of toxins and food stored and gets your body ready for diet and exercise. You don't have to do the cleanse but it is a good jump start to your diet. Losing weight is hard and takes a long time but can be done as long as you learn the word NO to junk food and stick to healthy eating and get your exercise program in gear. No cheating and no snacking after supper/dinner. Drink plenty of water because it makes you feel full and also helps flush your body. Take the SQ as directed, eat your 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks in between your meals. Go to webmd and get your BMI count under diets, that is calorie intake daily for you to lose weight. Count calories for everything you put in your mouth daily. If you don't know the calorie count of something go to acaloriecounter.com and type it in on top and it will tell you how many calories it is. Bake, broil or grill your lean meats, no fried foods. Lots of veggies, fruit, fiber and proteins. I would also talk to your doctor about starting SQ or any diet so they can keep tabs on you, always best to let your doctor know what you are planning and they can also talk to you about SQ and the birth control pills. Stay motivated and determined and no junk foods !!!, Good luck. :)

Than I would slowly start a program, SQ is working for me but at my own pace, I take it step by step without expecting miracles. It's a lot of hard work and kicking some bad habits. If you diet better even your kid will learn how to be healthier earlier having less issues later. And SQ can help with the cravings part, hunger control, giving boosts of energy to keep up. It was the only thing that worked for me for my postpartum depression and the stubborn lb.

I was told that because it has ingredients that need to be aborbed into your system via your stomach as does the pill you should never take the 2 things at the same time of day. as with a lot of medications you should try to leave 2 hours between taking sq and taking your pill.. i was told it`s easier to take your birth control at night before bed as it should be hours after your last SQ dose as well as hours before the next SQ dose. you could also talk to your doctor about nonoral forms of birth control if this still concerns you. there isn`t any significant link to SQ effecting birth control but it`s always good to be safer by not having the 2 things trying to absorb at the same time.
