Hi Everyone! It has been 1 year since I had my son and I am miserably unhappy with my body. I was always an apple shape- carried all my fat in my abdomen. However, before getting pregnant, I was in the best shape of my life at 113lbs and a size 4. I still had a tiny belly pouch b/c that is where most of my fat is stored. I gained 45lbs with my pregnancy and a year later, I can not manage to lose the excess belly fat!! I al currently 133lbs and a size 10 but I still wear maternity pants because my belly fat hangs over any regular pants, making it very uncomfortable! I have tried weight watchers and I go to the gym faithfully 3 days a week, but have not lost 1 pound since November of 2008. Question #1. Does the SQ help reduce belly fat? Will I notice a difference in my abdomen if I follow the plan? Question #2. Can I combine the SQ Appetite Control packet with the SQ 7 day cleanse? Any help or motivation you can all give me would be greatly appreciated!

SQ doesn't reduce fat - it helps you control your appetite and gives you energy. Don't come looking for a miracle. The hard work of eating right and exercising is up to you. I am also still in maternity pants and it can be so disheartening. Use that as motivation to do something for yourself and get back into regular pants! Also, go to webmd.com and find out your calorie count and then to get started, find 3-6 go-to meals that fit within that calorie count, or just follow the recipes in the SQ pamphlet. You can do it - don't listen to anyone (including the voices in your head!) that say you can't.

If you do the cleanse do it by itself first then when the 7 days are up then start your SQ diet pills or drink mix. Exercise is what will help get rid of that pooch. Full body exercises plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week for starters, once you build the muscles back up then you can up the times and counts. You will find there is really no spot weight loss or fat reduction, you need to exercise and lose full body fats and cardio is very important, it gets your heart pumping and your metabolism working hard and that's what eats up the calories for fuel. Full body exercising is squats, push ups, crunches, bends, side swings, etc., and after a while again once you get them muscles stronger you can add weights to your routine. SQ works awesome and does what it says it will do with suppressing hunger and boosts your energy, you do your 50% of the work with exercise and diet with healthy eating and you will get results. :)

Heyyy...like already mentioned, just do the cleanse by itself. But as far as the appetite control drink packets (the purple ones right?) i personally would choose the hoodia because ive used them and they really work and i found the packets to be wayyyy t big for a bottle of water and I wanted to gag after drinking it. It was sooo foamy and I couldnt even finish drinking it. The hoodia is awesome and yes, you can use that in conjunction to the blue pills or normal packets. Best of luck

I've started taking SQ to get rid of my postpartum everything. And I've discovered that for me it is working because it gives me the energy to follow through with actually loosing weight. I take the naturals(twice) and the appetite control(only once a day, diluted in more water than they say) and it works for me. You can do it, just find what's best for you. Take some time at the drugstore to read carefully what does what and pick what's right for you. And although it's said not to reduce fat I did loose a little stubborn, very very stubborn fat that I had stuck on my hips since my first baby. So there is hope but lots and lots of work! ;)
