I'm 60 years old

Have had a complete hysterectomy & am taking bio-identical hormones.  Would appreciate any info you may have - Walk 30+ minutes / day & have been trying to use Nutrisystem but with not much luck.  Thanks!  Nervous

Go to webmd and get your BMI count under diets, that is calorie intake daily for you to lose weight, count calories for everything and if you don't know the calorie count go to acaloriecounter.com and type it in at the top, it will tell you how many calories it is. Lean meat only,little to no red meat, to fatty. Lots of fruit, veggies fiber and proteins. I have been very successful so far on this diet. SQ is great and does exactly what it says it will do, give us an energy boost plus suppress hunger, we do the rest with proper diet and exercise. Nutrisystem is ok, I use their bars for between meals but you can make your own healthy meals alot better. Your walking for 30 min or so is ok but make it a brisk walk, we need to get the cardio in and get that blood pumping to flow fast to make your metabolism kick in to eat the calories.. whew!!! that was a type full. Go to self.com videos, google it, and there you will find lots of different exercises you can do at home and find what works for you. I splurged on a treadmill for cardio and it is awesome. So full body exercises plus cardio, eating proper and no junk foods will get you results, the SQ helps alot to get you moving and suppress hunger, you do your share and we will be happy dancing before long. :)
