Hi, my name is Jysika and I'm new (wow guess you knew that already though huh? lol) I've decided that I wanted to atleast try to lose weight and I bought the slimquick packets (that you put in your drink) to start off with to see how well they work. My problem is that I know that I need to exercise but don't have the energy to do so. I'm guessing that slimquick will help with the energy thing? Anyway, help and advice from those who have been doing this (or are doing this) program would help alot. Especially since I'm probably not motivated enough lol My birthday is a week or so away, (November 5th) and it would be really awesome to loose atleast 10 pounds by that day. So thats my short term goal. I plan on walking atleast 3 miles every other day. Another of my problems though is the whole eatting thing.. I only eat like 2 meals a day if that, sometimes only 1. Anyone have any meal ideas that are quick and cheap that would be good for a diet?

Welcome to the SQ family...as i like to call it haha....not to burst your bubble or anything, but i'd REALLY suggest changing your short term goal because 10 pounds in 6 days is pretty unrealistic. Its healthy to lose about 1 to 2 pounds per week. I understand the first week is usually an exception because of the amount of water weight that can be lost, but 10 pounds in 6 days is unhealthy. I'd suggest aiming for about 2-3 pounds by then, and not to get discouraged if you're not at the number you want to be at by then. It takes a very long time to lose any significant amount of weight, but as long as your diligent with the plan, you'll be fine. Also, i read you are using the packets. thats awesome becasue it makes you drink water haha...but...ive heard from other people and also from my experience, no matter what flavor packet you get, they all taste gross if you put them in a regular 16 oz water bottle. Since i paid for the whole box of packets, i was determined to use them. I found them to taste way better if i put one pack in about 24 ounce of water, or sometimes 30 oz. I use a re fillable 32 oz water bottle and it makes life a lot easier. I hope it helps!

    Mamoor is correct, it is next to almost impossible to lose vast amounts of weight in a week especially if you do not exercise, exercise is a must, the SQ doesn't make the weight melt off, they give you the energy to get exercising and hunger suppressant. You will need to do full body exercises plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week and once you get stronger you will up the time and amounts of all exercises. 1 to 2 pounds a week is normal.

I may loose some, and then I will gain it back +, while still on the "diet". I guess we will have to see how this one goes. I just want to be a little healthier and loose a few pounds. Currently I am about 40lbs overweight. I just want to be healthy and would like to feel better about myself.
