Hello everyone, i just started the extreme 7 days ago and havent lose any pounds. i am using the treadmill every morning. I usually do 2 to 3 miles, and Iam eating healthy. I dont know what i am doing rong cause i haven't lose any pounds. Anybody with the same situation? any pounds off the first week? I really need some advice, so i can do a better job to reach my goal. Thank you all

    Hi darina2 I read in a fitness magazine that you need to break up your time on the treadmill do a mile then get off and do some stretching or weights for 10 min then get back on. Plus it will help with the boredom of only doing the treadmill. Or do a day with the treadmill and another day with just working out.

    Go to webmd and under diets get your BMI count, that is calorie intake for you daily to lose weight, don't go under 1200 calories daily or your body stores all you eat into fat cells thinking no more is coming. I do the treadmill for an hour daily plus full body exercises. I do my treadmill steady because you need that 30 min sustained cardio at least to get the metabolism working for you. Lots of fruit, veggies, fiber and proteins, no junk foods of any kind. Take your measurments once a week as well as your weigh in once a week, don't watch the scale a 100 times a day. Weigh in in the mornings after you first get up and empty your bladder. Same for your measurments.Your measurments tell you more true if what you are doing for exercise is enough and working, the scale jumps around especially with the more you work out the more muscle you gain and muscle weighs more than fat. So do your cardio on the treadmill but you still need to do full body exercises like squats, crunches, side swings, lunges etc. Go to self.com videos and there you will find numerous short videos and am sure you will find some body exercise ones that will work for you. Hang in there. :)
