Heya Everyone, my name is Sharmaine I am new to the SQ site and I wanted to get a feel for what this product has been doing for women, before I begin on 07/15/09. I gained a considerable amount of weight in my early 20's and was at my heaviest 286lbs at the age of 26. I started to exercise regularly and change my eating habits and over the course of a year lost 73lbs, however my body at this point has hit a plateau and left me feeling discouraged. So at 214lbs I am ready to get back into action and lose the rest of my goal which is to get back down to 130lbs. So feel free to stop by say hello and chat, i'm open for motivational support...

Well hello Sharmaine I to am new to SQ site. I've always been a bit on the heavy side with doctors and family telling me to lose a little weight. I'm 5' 1" and now weigh 180lbs and am trying to lose the weight mostly for my health. With a family history of diabetes, heart decease, high blood pressure and cholesterol it's only a matter of time before I'm next. I will begin my weight loss journey 07/15/09 and can definitely use the motivational support as well.

It can be done ladies, go to webmd and under diets get your BMI counts, that is calorie intake daily in order for you to lose weight, exercise full body plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week, exercise and healthy diet is the key to weight loss, count calories for everything you put in your mouth. throw out all the junk food in the house and replace it with fruit, veggies, fiber and proteins, little to no red meat, no processed foods, no sugar, soda, no junk foods. It is hard work and not a fast thing but can be done as long as you are totally determined to get rid of the weight once and for all.Keep journals for everything you are doing, water intake, food intake, weight and measurment taking weekly, pill taking... keep it in your face everyday so you remember your journey and help keep you focused and when you reach your goal you can look back to day one and see how far you have come,, also for exercise what you did and for how long. That alone is a great motivator. Less calories in and more burned daily along with exercise is the key to weight loss and SQ will help with the appetite and energy so you feel like getting things done. Good luck and stay strong. :)
