Hi I am new and I am heading to the store to get a slimquick product to try. I have been working out for 2 and 1/2 years (alone no diet change, thats the hard part for me) and I have managed  to gain 4 lbs over the 2 and 1/2 years instead of losing the 24 lbs i desired to in the first place. I have realized I cannpt lose by excercise alone and I don't eat alot. I work the graveyard shift and it screws up my eating habits...i only work 3 nights a week so you would think on my days off i could eat normally but i dont for some reason i still dont eat breakfast and lunch (prob cause my body is not used to haveing it) and i eat all my meals and snacks at night and then go to bed and sleep on it. I know you shouldnt do that and I try not to but my clock is flipflopped. Anyway thats my story so As of tomorrow I am going to start fresh and give it my all. I would love any suggestions you have. Also what is the best product to start with, I was thinking the cleanse. I would love to know what worked for you all! Have a good day!

Go to webmd and under diets get your BMI count, that is calorie intake daily for you to lose weight. SQ does work as long as you do your 50% of the work with diet and exercise, fruits, veggies, fiber and proteins. Exercise full body plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week. No cheating, no junk foods, no sugar, no fried foods, no sodas etc, just healthy choices. You need to eat your calorie count daily, 3 meals a day plus 2 healthy snacks in between the meals. If you don't eat your calories your body thinks it is starving and stores everything you eat into fat storage cells. Same as with plenty of water, if you don't drink enough your liver thinks no more water is coming and also stores it. Do not go under 1200 calories a day, not good for your metabolism. Working weird shifts makes it tough but you can get your meals in and lunch at work can be a healthy one and your snacks can be nuts, some fruit, a nutri bar or slimfast bar, cheerios, triscuits or something healthy like that. Try not to over eat when at work then come home and sleep on the food. Try to eat your 2 meals before work and just the one meal at work like a good salad with chicken in it or a fruit salad, something easy to digest, a couple of snackies and you will be good to go. Don't skip them meals, they are important, you want your metabolism burning calories all day long, not storing anything and everything into fat cells. Your body will get used to eating normally your meals and look forward to them to boot. By the picture you already look good so you don't have a whole lot of weight to lose, set up new life patterns for yourself and a new lifestyle of eating and exercises and count calories and you will get results. Stay focused and be determined and you will get them extra pounds off. :)

Thank you very much for the compliment!!! Although I tink I see me differently than others do. I do drink tons of water a day and I workout faithfully at a gym for an hour 4-6 times a week, so I got that all set already. I truely do need to work on the amount of food I eat at a time and when I eat. I am determined this time to get the eating down too. It's not going to be easy but I am seriously going to give it a try. as for my BMI it falls in the overweight category, I dont think by much but it does. What I am struggling with now is finding the appropriate times to eat when i work at night or 16 hour shifts...I will get it though. Thanks so much for your info!

HI Mamahutch You look awesome! My suggestion for what it is worth is to try to increase your protein intake and don't eat as much carbs. (assuming you are not already doing this). If you log your food intake on your dashboard of this website, it will show you that you should have a 40/30/30 split of Protien/Carbs/Fat. As you log your food for the day, it tallies up what % you eat. It was amazing for me to see how I really needed to up the protien and lower the carbs. Funnily enough, the fat was right on and yet that is where we usually concentrate. Good luck, hope this helps.
