I am attempting to start the program this week..I know I need to plan things out to accomplish my goals. Just dont know where to start. OK, Ill tell u short version of my situation, and hopefully someone can help me, as I need someone..lol..OK, Im 25 yr old mom of 2, fulltime nursing student. I am 6 weeks away from graduating.YAY!! When I started school last summer I was about 130 lbs.. I am now 150.. I have always had excess belly fat(and skin) after having my first child, so adding the 20 lbs I finally lost 1yr prior 2 school when i gained it back it is very prominent. With as much running around that I do I shold have lost weight instead of gain during school, but I think stress is a big factor. So with the goal of wanting to get to 125-130 in 6 wks, I bought SQ caplets. I logged onto this site hoping there would be more guidance for the all around process, but dosnt really fit my life. The nurtrtional guide is not geared towards people that are low income, I am lactose intolerant so many foods get me sick. frustrating.. and the exercise, Im not sure what to do as I dont have a gym membership and no equipment 2 use, on top of very little time between 2 kids, part time job, fulltime school and alll the schoolwork, and housework..blah blah.. I really feel like Im stuck in a rut. Emotionally I am in a deep hole, not sure if my problems are not fitting the criteria or just lack of self-esteem, confidence, and motivation.. Someone please help me!!

I don't really use the meal plans here either, I just follow a sensible diet. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies, stock up on healthy stuff at the grocery store when it goes on sale. Cut out the fast food and just eat smaller portions. The SQ should help with appetite control so you are not as hungry as often. And you don't need equipment to work out. If you have digital cable, your cable provider may have an exercise on demand channel that you can use when you have time and you can pick what you would like to try. Also before dinner, try getting the kids together and take a family walk around the block or something like that to get everyone in the family supporting your weight loss efforts.

You need to try and squeeze in some exercise time, exercise and proper eating are the keys to weight loss. So to begin many ladies here can not afford gym memberships so go to self.com videos and there you will find lost of short video clips of exercises and am sure you will find some that will work for you at home. Gaining weight hits all of us and stress does not help to say the least. Try to get a meal plan going with only healthy choices, no junk or fast foods, no processed foods. Get your BMI count from webmd under diets and there you will see how many calories per day you need to lose weight. If you are eating under 1200 caloires a day your body thinks it is starving and starts to store everything you eat into fat cells. Drink plenty of water as well for the same reason, if you don't drink enough your body goes into panic mode and stores all water thinking no more is coming. Healthy food choices and no fried foods, bake, broil or grill, stir fry veggies is ok. Make a time during your busy day for exercise and get some cardio work in like a brisk walk. Just make a plan and stick to it, count calories for everything you eat and if you don't know what the calorie count is go to acaloriecounter.com and type it in at the top and it will tell you how many calories it is. None of us here knew where to begin either so you are not alone. You already began with knowing you want some weight off, good start, now just make a continued plan for what works best for you. good luck. :)
