Well today is my first day on sq but I have been dieting and exercising for the past 2 weeks and just doing that I have been able to drop 4 pounds. I know that might sound good but I need a little bit of a kick in the butt so that is why I am doing the sq. I am 26 almost 27 and I have a son that is almost 8, but I have never gotten rid of the baby weight. Does anyone have any tricks to try so I can loose the extra weight I have been carring around this whole time? I do cardio and work on all my muscle groups and yes I do crunches but I am just looking for something that wil really help me loose my tummy and keep it off. My goal is to go from 175 lbs to 130 lbs and quit smoking by next summer so me and my fiance' can go on a cruise and me not be embarassed to wear shorts or even a bathing suit.     Hi and welcome. Well, actually there is no really spot exercises for just a certain body area, It basically comes down to whole body exercises to lose weight everywhere. The crunches and side bends and body swings helps alot for tummy exercises. That is my total weight area as well, my legs and arms are skinny but the stomach is my problem. Go to self.com videos, just google it and there you will find a whole bunch of short video clips on exercises and you should be able to find some that will work for you. Make sure you watch that you eat totally healthy as well. Fruit, veggies fiber and proteins, no sweets or junk foods, no processed foods etc. Get your BMI count from webmd, that is your calorie intake daily for you to lose weight and follow it the best you can. Don't go under 1200 calories a day or your body thinks it is starving and will store everything into fat cells.Keep up your full body exercises and at least 30 min cardio 4 to 5 times a week and up the time and counts as you get stronger. SQ will help greatly giving you the energy boost and hunger suppressant, you do the rest and you will get results. :)
