Hi everybody, I had gastric bypass almost 6 yrs ago. Let me tell you it is not the wonder surgery. I am gaining weight back. I just cancelled my Weight Watchers membership today because $43 a month and I lost and gained the same 10 pounds since last January. I have hit rock bottom. Caregiver for a parent and much stress. I needed to try something new and actually a dr. recommended this to me. So here I am. Please I am looking for alot of support and friends.

Hi and welcome. Friends and support you will get here from all the awesome ladies here. Go to webmd and get your BMI count under diets, that is calorie intake daily for you to lose weight. Count calories for everything you put in your mouth. If you don't know the calorie count go to acaloriecounter.com and type it in at the top and it will tell you how many calories it is. Eat lots of fruit, veggies, fiber and protein, no junk foods, sweets, pizza, processed foods, little to no red meats, to fatty, no fried foods etc. Common sense eating. Throw out all the junk food and re stock with healthy choices. SQ will help you, gives you energy and a hunger suppressant. Exercise full body plus 30 min sustained cardio 4 to 5 times a week. You can go to self.com videos and there you will find a bunch of short videos on awesome exercises and choose what wil work for you. Diet supplements and or diet aids do work as long as you do your 50% of the work. There is no miricle weight loss aid, exercise and healthy eating are keys to weight loss. Determination is another key, you have to be totally commited and stay positive. Make a plan for yourself for exercises and eating meals, keep a journal of everything you are doing daily and keep it in your face, that will keep you going and also help you remember if you took the SQ pills when you were supposed to. No cheating and no snacking after supper stay focused. Ask yourself how bad do you want to lose the extra weight every morning when you wake up, the answer will keep you on track. Gaining weight is so easy and losing it is so hard but can be done, your body will fight you at first because it wants all the food back but you take back control of your body and stick to it, no caving in or feeling sorry for yourself. It is a long road, it doesn't melt off in a week. If you are strong and determined you will get results. You are worth this for your health and good looks and feeling great about yourself and this is a huge job but the rewards are amazing. You can do this. :)

Thank You for the welcome. I of course want the weight gone but most important to me right now is getting the hiding food, eating alone, drive thrus eating in my car under control. I no longer allow myself to do these things.
