I've never really working on toning muscle before. I've heard both that you should lift weights and do toning exercises; and that you should wait until you've lost some weight before starting any weights.

What is the best way to go about this?

    I started with some weights after my muscles got stronger and were used to working.

    its actually best to start toning and lifting weight right away cuz the muscle that ur building will help u burn more fat
