Another Walking Question???

Sorry to "beat a deadhorse to death" but I have another walking question. I walk because I have a 22 month old, so I can walk and push her. We have started walking in the mornings now, around 8 when it is cooler. It gets really hot/humid in the mornings now. Anyway, I do not have one of those "walking strollers" I just have the regular travel stroller. We live on a farm. So I walk our farm road, which is a main "back road". The road has hills and is steep in places. I don't do brisk fast pace walks due the stroller. I'm still huffing an puffing to get up the main hill. Here's my question, will this type of walking work? Right now I can only do about 30 mins worth, my legs start itching!! The added stroller should help with more calories burned, right? I also started, as of yesterday, doing 30 min of other exercise on my Exercise TV. Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to get opinions on my walking!

Yep, the walking you do will be good, going up hills etc. makes your whole body work especially pushing a stroller and it's weight. Soon you will be walking more than 30 min, you are using muscles to get it done and them muscles are getting stronger every walk you do. You are doing great with the walking and exercises, keep at it. :)

Thanks. I am sore today from the TV workouts. So I took the day off of exercise but still walked this morning and may walk after church tonight when it cools off.

Make sure you are counting your calories so that your workouts will payoff faster, no matter how leisurely or strenuous they may seem.
