You should do the treadmill like you do and should also add in some full body exercises like crunches, squats, push ups, body swings and bends etc. You want to get all the muscle groups working from head to toe in there.
they say that 30 min will keep you at your weight and 45 and more will help you lose
Your body will get too used to running for that amount of time/speed after about 4 weeks. You're going to need to increase the intensity and/or the amount of time you spend on the treadmill if you want to avoid hitting a plateau.
