Burning Calories

I am on day 3 of the program and I am motivated to accomplish the goal that I have set for myself. I need some advice/help. I can't afford to join a gym, however, I am getting my exercise in by improvising with what is available to me, for example, we have a walking track, I have an exercise ball, dumbells and other things to keep me MOVING. I am trying to find out how I can determine how many calories I burn when I do my cardio and strength training. Is there an inexpensive calorie burner gadget that I can purchase that is inexpensive? My last question is, I have not been able to figure out the Exercise tracker on this site and how to update it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Be blessed and a blessing to someone else.

There is no way of counting the calories you burn. If you checked your webmd BMI count for how many calories you need daily in order to lose weight there is at the top a spot where it says how many calories you need to sustain your current weight. Everything you do burns calories including breathing. So if you cut your calories as it says for you and do your exercises along with your daily routine you will burn more calories that you take in. I don't go to a gym either, go to self.com videos and there you will find a number of short videos and you can choose what works well for you. Your tread mill will give you excellent cardio and the videos will give you some really good full body exercises. I don't use the exercise tracker but will give it a look over. I use my weight loss journal to track everything I do. :)

I appreciate the information. I discovered 10 minute workouts OnDemand with my cable provider last night and will incorporate some of those into my routine.
