Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

So I got that 30 day shred dvd about a month ago, did he first level one workout and haven't picked it up again..yeah...it's that hard. It really is a major a** kicker! So i got thinking about my workout schedule the other day and decided to really do a personal challenge and dedicate myself to doing that dvd and see what happens. The thing says you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days. Well, i'm not morbidly obese so i don't expect to lose the 20 pounds at all. My goal however is to lose 15...and i'm giving myself from yesterday until the last day in november. So dec 1, i am hoping to be 15 pounds lighter. If anything, i want to see a major diffeence in my muscle tone. But seriously...these workouts are killer! My legs actually hurt walking down the stairs the next day from this dvd, but if i spend literally 2 hours in the gym, i don't feel anything the next day. Ive heard this dvd is very effective and I want to work through the program and see or myself. I strongly reccommend purchasing this workout dvd because it'll be the best 20 dollars you'll ever spend :)

Ok, I went out and bought the DVD. I watched Jillian's workout On Demand on Comcast last night. Tonight is going to be my first night. I will post my progress. My realistic goal is 10 pounds by Nov. 16th.

HI I would like to get some advise, I'm thinking about starting the slimquick diet, but i'm nout sure where to begin, i really don't have time to workout in the mornings because i need to be at work at 8a, i wake up usually at 5:45a get myself dressed and then wake the kids up, i'm usually off at 4:30p dash and pick my kids up and off home for dinner and homework, yeah! i could workout at nite, but i'm really dog tired, does anyone have any suggestions? also, i was thinking about taking the Slimquick natural, because i don't like the jitters, but would that help with energy level?

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is brutal. Everything hurts, even my eyelashes (LOL). I am determined more than ever to do it. I am motivated to get to Level 3 by week 2. We will see. KLocstar, I get up at 4:30 a.m. to be at work at 7:00 so I don't exercise in the morning. I go directly to the track after work and on those days that I don't walk, I exercise at home for 30-45 minutes. You might want to consider trading in 30 minutes of your lunch hour to exercising. Hope this helps.

I've been doing the jillian michaels for jut over a week and ive seriously noticed results. My endurance is much higher and I'm starting to see defiition in my arms. I moved to level 2 yesterday. I wasnt planning on level 2 until late next week, but i felt i could and i struggled through it, but that's better than i was on day1 lvel one. It'll hurt now (and most of he other times too haha...but it's so worth it!)

I have 30 day Shred on my shelf and I was doing it early in the morning and stopped. I will be starting it again tomorrow morning. I don't have kids, so I don't have to deal with that in the morning. I will get up at 5:45 am and then work out and be done by 6:30 am. Let's keep each other updated on our progress with 30 Day Shred. It's a tough workout even in 20 minutes for level one. I can't wait to see results.

hey erietant! I'm so exited you ordered the dvd. I do want to let you know however that even level one is VERY challenging...even for the elite ew ( i rea the reviews on amazon.com) Sooo...i'm just saying NOT to get discouraged because it's "too difficult" because believe me...you're endurance will sky rocket after a few days and once you start seeing the results (pretty quickly) you're going to be thrilled and think that all of the pain in your legs and entire body the next day is sooo worth it. I sometimes feel that her 20 minute litle sessions are more effective that spending a few hours at the gym. I feel like i actually did something! Good luck, and let me know what you think of it :) ~Maria

I actually rented the 30 day shred before I bought it off of amazon.com a few weeks ago. I got it last week to finally own it. Level one is the only one I've done so far. It's truly an amazing work out. I feel so great after I do it..Although it's pretty tough getting all the way to the end. I've only done it once since I've had it because it's so intimidating...I have netflix and so I've been doing the workouts I've added to the instant watch. I've been trying to work out at least every other day until my energy gets back up from putting my daughter on a new sleep schedule. I'm planning on working out everyday with like one day off a week once I start taking the slimquick so that I can amp my results...right now I'm building myself up :)

Wow! All the comments sound very motivating! I am definitely not one to work out, but after reading these comments it makes me want to try the video. I've heard really great things about Jillian's workouts. I think I will try some of her workouts on demand first though. I am very curious to hear about everyone's results. Good luck everyone! :)

Well...I tried the 30 min shred and you all were not joking! It kicked my butt! I feel exhausted, but I feel so good! I am not one to exercise at all, but 20 minutes of hell is not bad at all. Hopefully I will stay motivated and hopefully will see some results soon! By the way, there are a few of Jillian's workouts besides the 30 min shred on demand. I look forward to hear everyone's progress :)
