Hello all, I'm taking slimquick in conjunction with the Insanity work out program. Has anyone else done this, and if so, how were your results impacted? I completed my first week of the program without slimquick, and lost 4.5 inches off of my body; hoping to see better for week two!

Basically, the company wanted a program harder than p90x, so they asked him to whip one up. It's high intensity cardio, and when they say that, they really mean it. Physically and mentally, it's probably the hardest thing i have ever done, but it feels so good to know that i've accomplished some of the things he asks you to do.

    It is actually suggested that you start a workout program while taking the Slim Quick system. BUT just remember that while you are working out you are burning more calories. I know at first you just want the weight to go away as quickly as possible, but true weight loss takes time. If you are intensely working out, then you have to increase your calories, esp calories from protein. The idea behind working out is to increase muscle mass. You can't increase muscle mass without consuming more protein. Remember the golden rule of exercising; MUSCLE weighs more than FAT. So don't be surprised if you gain a few pounds right away. In the long run, muscle mass burns calories causing you to loss weight. My advice is to be careful. Listen to your body. Eat when your hungry. Rest often, at least once a week,. Or you can alternate muscle groups (legs, abs, arms) on different days in order to rest those muscles. If you feel dizzy or weak, STOP IMMEDIATELY. Hip HOP Abs(shaun T), core rhythms and Zumba. They are all sooo FUN and i it really targets my TUMMY which is the hardest place to lose weight. i fins my self energized and having fun! and boy do you feel the burn! i get sweaty and go through a few glasses of water. def gets your heart rate up! i recommend these workouts to EVERYONE. and you don't have to buy the dvds.
